Some of the departments and interdisciplinary groups offer direct admission to the limited number of candidates solely based on higher GATE percentile. Candidates, who are offered direct admission, have to confirm the admission by paying the fees and submitting the acceptance letter. However, such candidate will have option for not to accept the direct admission offer in given specializations but to appear for written test/interview in discipline of one's higher choice(s). Seats remaining vacant after Direct Admission (can be in small like direct admission); will be filled up through written test/interview. Each candidate can submit only One Application Form.
